CLCF U-Littles is for our younger players and runs in the fall and spring seasons. Visit the CLCF Age Matrix to see if your child is eligible. The cost for the program is $80.00, which includes professional training, player t-shirt, and end-of-season celebration and award.
The U-Littles Program runs weekly; meeting for 45-minute sessions on Saturday mornings at 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00 (if necessary). When registering, you can request your child's session (not guaranteed).
U-Littles Soccer is instructed by New England Revolution Academy Coaches who create a fun atmosphere where players can develop at their own pace, giving each player a positive and successful experience in each session. Individual skill development is key at this age, and the program aims to improve the basic motor skills used in soccer. For example, running, jumping, kicking, etc...whilst creating players that are comfortable with the ball at their feet. Volunteer parents are invited to participate and are guided through instructing and encouraging the players. This is a great way to get involved with the program.
Players are broken into groups and assigned a Revolution Coach and field they will report to each week. There are no practices during the week for the U-Littles participants.
Required equipment:
• Shin guards
• Size 3 soccer ball
• Drink or water bottle
• Soccer cleats are recommended (sneakers are permissible; however, cleats designed for other sports will not be allowed as they are dangerous for soccer).
Please note: Jewelry of any kind (bracelets, piercings, watches, etc.) is not permitted. These items can be dangerous to the players wearing them and other players on the field. Therefore, coaches will send players with jewelry to the parent to remove it before allowing the player to take the field. The only exception is medical bracelets, which must be taped before taking the field.
